When you love what you do, it isn’t work!
Hi! I’m Deb Josephs and I have over 30+ years’ experience in Human Resources in a broad range of industries.
In late 2021, I launched my own consulting practice with a focus on HR Strategy, Executive Coaching and Compensation Programs. Prior, I helped Latch prepare for its IPO in June 2021 by developing their compensation programs, implementing a performance management process, and building a highly impactful People team (which included, Recruiting, Talent Development, HR Business Partners, People Operations and DEI).
Prior to Latch, I served as the first Chief People Officer at Ampersand, where I built the HR team from the ground up, including robust Learning & Development and DEI programs. I also served as the Chief People Officer at IAC Applications, a division of IAC, where I led the HR efforts of multiple international acquisitions and subsequent workforce integrations.
Previously, I was a member of executive teams that led eXelate through its acquisition by Nielsen and DoubleClick through its acquisition by Google. Earlier in my career, I held senior Human Resources positions at Everyday Health, the McGraw-Hill Companies, Ogilvy & Mather, The Bank of New York, NASD/Nasdaq, and NatWest Bank.
During my tenure at DoubleClick, I implemented best practices in recruiting, employee development, succession planning, organizational design and HR strategy resulting in contributing to 40% year over year revenue growth and a significant reduction in employee turnover.
I have a BA in Psychology from Boston University, an MBA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Zicklin School of Business. I am certified by the Center for Creative Leadership to facilitate 360 feedback instruments, is a Gallup Strengths Coach and am a Certified Sparketype Advisor.
